FS Weekend Lelystad Holland

The beginning of yet another great weekend at what is called "Lelystad", the yearly international flight simulator weekend in the Dutch National Aviaition Museum 'Aviodrome'.
Thousands of flight sim enthusiasts will be present to visit and participate the many demonstations, (commercial) presentations and much more ....
A must of every one that loves the virtual flying and controlling.

This night I have (finally) updated my website again ... I have added the story on VOR and its use, holdings, and the holding entries. That last one is a though one .... hope it is for once and for ever clear now :)

Hello,

Recently I took the decision to change the technical part behind my website and go (back ?) for html-frames. For this purpose, I think, it has advantages .....
So, meanwhile the website is updated, from the outside not directly visible, but in the heart, there is a considerable change.
Keep an eye on the updates, as they come.:)

What shall I do? Assist and react by providing the missing info, that background info that I like to give .... or stick to my a bit stubborn attitude here and say: Well .... not then , so why now ?? If so, I miss the change to explain how it is done in real and how that can be translated to this hobby ....

Finally the word is out and ... I may start work and devote really a great time to the BE division ... With pleasure :)
Still, I think and I know there is enough spare time for the other functions, which I will continue to do with equally great pleasure and devotion.

Finally I made it .... have published now the article called "About ATC ...." Just in general to explain a bit as it all fits together. And remember, ATC is a service to the pilots. Like the picture says it all, much better than many words could :)

Another VFR training course successfully finished

We did it again :)
The IVAO BE Division Training Section finished successfully yet another VFR training course.
5 enthusiastic students in an interesting mix of pilot and ATC participate with great interest. And interesting to see how these activities attract quite some 'visitors' listening-in and observing through our IvAc radar software.
Keep an eye on the announcements on the BE website and on the IVAO Forum. More to come soon :)

So, my first step has been to add a general page about VFR Training. It explains some basic information as we made that for the IVAO Academy. Now work has started to introduce the VFR Practical Training Sessions, as we do this for quite some time in the BE Division.
